$54,358.04 - $62,511.74 per annum + super + allowances
Permanent full time - 38 hours per week, to and from work vehicle, mobile phone
Participation in Council's 9 day fortnight scheme
As a Team Leader, Garden Services you will be responsible for organising, leading and managing a small team in the planning and delivery of Garden Services to Council.
In this position you will be responsible for ensuring that all gardens are maintained to schedule and within budget.
Using your previous experience and knowledge you will make recommendations for mulching, watering, maintenance and improvement and implement them as directed.
With your excellent people and communication skills you will assist your Coordinator by providing feedback to residents and clients, resolving minor maintenance issues and providing job development and training to your team.
To be successful in this role you must have qualifications in landscaping or horticulture (or equivalent experience), a Chemical Users Accreditation certificate, OH&S Whitecard and Traffic Control tickets (Blue, Yellow and Red). A current valid Class “MR” drivers licence is also essential. Previous experience acting in a leadership role and managing the workload of others is also required.
